Following a busy day of engagements in Bomadi yesterday, the National President of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri Snr, led an IYC delegation on a friendly visit to the President of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), Prof. Benjamin Okaba, at his hometown residence in Kpakiama Town, Delta State.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to discuss pressing issues affecting the Ijaw Nation’s progress and development. The discussions centered on the importance of maintaining peace, unity, and focus in the quest for sustainable development and growth across all levels of Ijaw Nation.

The visit underscored the commitment of both platforms to work together in advancing the interests and well-being of the Ijaw people. It also highlighted the shared vision for a prosperous and developed Ijaw Nation, where all stakeholders are aligned in their pursuit of progress.

The meeting is seen as a step towards strengthening cooperation and synergy between the IYC and INC in addressing the challenges facing the Ijaw Nation.
