In accordance with the Constitution of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Odi as amended and in line with our established conventions, the 9th National Executive Council (NEC), at its meeting held on 24th March 2026, hereby direct all Zones and Chapters to convene Congresses within their respective domains for the purpose of nominating members of the Electoral Committee (ELECO) for the 2026 National Elections.

For clarity, each Zone is required to nominate two (2) members, while the Abuja and Lagos Chapters are to nominate one (1) member each.

All ELECO nominees must be forwarded through the Acting National Secretary of the Council Worldwide on or before 5th April 2026.
