A.I.L Infrastructure Limited Donates Cement to Support Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Secretariat Complex Project
In a commendable act of corporate social responsibility, A.I.L Infrastructure Limited, the construction firm currently handling the Nembe–Brass Road project, has made a generous donation of a truckload of cement to the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide. The donation is aimed at supporting the ongoing construction of the IYC International Secretariat Complex in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The announcement was made on Tuesday, 28th October 2025, by the company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. (Builder) Olaniran O. Aderibigbe (FNIOB). According to Mr. Aderibigbe, the gesture reflects A.I.L Infrastructure Limited’s enduring commitment to community development and youth empowerment within the Niger Delta region.
“This donation is part of our ongoing efforts to give back to the communities we serve. We believe in supporting initiatives that foster youth development, institutional growth, and sustainable peace in the Niger Delta,”
said Mr. Aderibigbe.
The IYC International Secretariat Complex—which will feature a training center, workshop, 2,500-seater international conference hall, and a mini sick bay—represents a major step toward realizing the Council’s vision of building a world-class administrative and developmental hub for Ijaw youths globally.
The President of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri Snr, expressed heartfelt appreciation to A.I.L Infrastructure Limited for the timely and impactful contribution. He described the donation as “a clear testament to genuine partnership and a shared vision for Ijaw development.”
Sir Lokpobiri further emphasized that the cement donation would accelerate ongoing construction efforts and bring the Secretariat project closer to completion. He reaffirmed the Council’s readiness to continue fostering productive collaborations with individuals, organizations, and institutions committed to advancing the Ijaw cause and the broader goal of regional growth.
