The IYC National Electoral Committee (ELECO), led by Dr. Charles Ikimi, today paid a consultative visit to Dr. Chris Ekiyor at his residence in Patani. The visit was part of the committee’s ongoing engagement with respected Ijaw leaders and stakeholders ahead of its electoral responsibilities.

‎Dr. Chris Ekiyor, who was the 4th National President of the IJaw Youth Council (IYC). received members of the IYC National Electoral Committee (ELECO) warmly at his residence, offered valuable advice and guidance ahead of the electoral process.

‎The former President of Council, also threw his weight behind the committee, expressing confidence in its ability to conduct a credible, transparent, and fair election. Dr. Ekiyor urged the committee to remain impartial, uphold the principles of democracy, and ensure that the will of Ijaw youths prevails throughout the electoral exercise.
