The Ijaw Youth Council National Eleco, headed by Dr. Charles Ikimi as chairman, today paid a courtesy visit to the 6th President of the Ijaw Youth Council, Engr. Udens Eradiri.

The purpose of the visit was to seek advice, opinions, abreast him of our schedule of activities leading to the July 11th National Elections.

During the visit, the eleco Chairman expressed their commitment to ensuring a free and fair election for the Ijaw Youth Council.

In response, Engr. Udens Eradiri commended the National Eleco for their efforts and urged them to uphold the mandate of the Ijaw Youth Council, which is to foster unity and development among Ijaw youths. He also stressed the importance of conducting a transparent and credible election, stating that the future of the Ijaw nation depends on the leaders that will emerge.

Engr. Udens Eradiri further advised them to work closely with stakeholders in the council to ensure the success of the election. He assured them of his support and promised to offer any assistance where needed.

The visit ended with a vote of thanks from the Eleco Chairman Dr. Charles Ikimi, who expressed gratitude to the former President for his words of wisdom and support. They also promised to put in their best to ensure a successful election.
